Our Story
Mel and Paul are a husband and wife team who’ve long dreamt of running a business together, having both come from polar opposite professions, they decided to meet in the middle as they both adore Gin!. During the Pandemic they happened across some beautiful Gins distilled locally, this is where the idea to open a Gin shop was born!
They both grew up in the Southwest of England and decided that their shop would support locally distilled Artisan Gins from across the Southwest of England only. Mel and Paul pride themselves in supplying Gins of which 98% of their stock isn’t sold in supermarkets. This enhances the personal, supportive relationships that they have with all of their distillers, as each distiller has their own story of how they designed their own gins.
Mel and Paul believe that in the Southwest of England we have some of the best Gin Distilleries and use of the best foraging botanicals found inland on the moors and on the coastline which further enhances the Gins that they sell.
The Boutique Gin Shack is an independently owned shop whose aim is to give their customers a professional, friendly welcome and share the stories of their Craft distillers as they take their customers on a Gin journey throughout the Southwest!
