Sweet sherry, hazelnut, coconut, marzipan, sultanas, gingerbread & treacle on the palate.
Long, smooth and sweet finish.
Full bodied.
ABV 46%.
The barrel comes from the Jerez region in Spain where sherry is produced. The casks are exclusive and expensive, and used because of the beautifully sweet and rich flavours they impart upon the whiskey.
Unlike most distilleries who finish their whiskey in sherry barrels, this single barrel,e cask , single malt has been solely matured in a sherry cask from start to finish.
