The Gotland Gin Company is run by the Husband and wife team Mark and Dawn.
With both having completed full and illustrious careers in the British Army, and both being avid animal lovers, they decided to relocate to West Devon to live a life surrounded by animals and the glorious Devon countryside.

Gotland Gin company
Having purchased a small holding Gotland Gin set out to farm the Gotland Sheep. They have gradually expanded the number, and breeds of animals that they now rear, but their hearts remain with this very tactile breed, and the smallholding is affectionately referred to as Gotland HQ! Both Mark and Dawn are huge Gin fans, and love nothing more than sitting out in the evening with the fire pit glowing and watching over their livestock meandering around the pastures and rolling countryside of west Devon.
On one particular evening, and with several Gin and Tonics onboard, they decided to distil their own Gin! Dawn chose the name “Gotland Gin”- after her favourite breed of Gotland sheep, and the pressure fell on Mark to become a master distiller.
Gotland Gin evolved on a lovely evening in 2019 and has steadily grown into the brand it is today. With the heritage of the beautiful Gotland sheep coming from Sweden, Mark and Dawn decided to experiment infusing different fruits from Scandinavia, and finally settled on the humble Lingonberry for their London Dry Gin, and the Cloudberry when distilling their Farmers Strength Gin as a nod to the sheep!
The Gotland Gin experience
The final result is hand-crafted premium gins, both of which are smooth and refreshing when mixed with a plain premium tonic, or equally as gorgeous as sipping Gins with ice.
Numerous other Botanics have been infused to ensure both gins are juniper-forward in taste with background flavours from the citrus family, so when you need to relax, these Gins are a must!
