In 2012 a man with big dreams and a strong desire to build an amazing brand which could incorporate his love of all things Cornish came to fruition! Kickstarted by the wild Cornish coast, Tarquin has stayed true to himself and his dream of promoting the rugged coast of Cornwall.
Founded by Tarquin Leadbetter – a self taught master distiller, Tarquin decided he would forage, design, and distill his own “Tarquins” Cornish Gins, starting with his Original Cornish Gin, carefully crafted into the now well known frosted blue bottles.

Tarquin’s Cornish dry Gin
Tarquin’s Cornish dry Gin is distilled in four large copper Stills at the Southwestern Distillery headquarters using traditional techniques. The Tarquin’s Gin range remains a family run business, and the Tarquin’s Cornish gin has since branched out to widen his brand into a successful international business, with numerous gins to suit all palates, strengths and tastes.
If you prefer a stronger Gin, Tarquin has produced his version of a Navy strength. With an alcohol volume reaching 57% the yummy Seadog Gin is readily available and is a favourite gin. For the long summer months there are numerous Citrus and Berry Gins to chose from.
